According to Marriott, the deal represents a "significant alignment" between Design Hotels and Palisociety, with both brands "sharing a commitment to personalization, storytelling, and community-centered hospitality."

Founded by Avi Brosh in Los Angeles in 2008, Palisociety operates more than 20 hotels, residences, and restaurants, emphasizing bespoke design and strong ties to the communities in which they are located, Marriott said.

"Palisociety has always been driven by our love for design, culture, and independence, and this agreement feels like a natural extension of those shared passions that hotel enthusiasts will no doubt appreciate," Brosh said in a statement.

Design Hotels Managing Director Stijn Oyen added: "We believe that great hospitality is personal, unique, and shaped by the people behind it, making this collaboration a natural evolution for both brands."

The 16 hotels joining the Design Hotels portfolio over the coming months include: Palihouse West Hollywood with 95 rooms; Palihotel Melrose with 33 rooms; Palihotel San Francisco with 82 rooms; Palihotel Westwood Village with 54 rooms; Palihotel Palm Springs with 116 rooms; and properties under the Le Petit Pali and Arrive brands. Together, the 16 hotel agreements represent approximately 1,000 rooms.

Upon joining the Marriott system, Palisociety hotels will be able to leverage Marriott's global distribution channels and the Marriott Bonvoy loyalty program, as well as sales, marketing, and public relations services provided by Design Hotels.
